2020 Season Preview

2019 Overall Record:  5-22  /  Shore Conference:  4-18  /  A-Central:  0-7
Sectionals: Did Not Qualify
9th Place District 21
7th Place A-Central
32nd Place Shore Conference Tournament

Down Low (106-132): The most experienced portion of the lineup with three starters back. Junior Peter Berlin is the returning wins leader from last season, and is coming off a year where he had several strong performances in tournaments. The rest of the group will consist of underclassmen all looking to make an impact. Keep an eye on sophomore Dave Lisk who put in a lot of work in the offseason and is looking to have a breakout year.

In The Middle (138-160): Another young group, with sophomore Jose Avila being the lone returning starter. Dawson Renna is another one of the young wrestlers that had a strong offseason, and like Lisk, will be looking to make a name for himself in the Warrior's lineup this year.

Up Top (170-Hwt): The numbers are thin up top. Jay Hilla is a returning starter looking to take the next step in the heavyweight slot for Squan. Newcomer Angel Aparacio, the lone senior in the room, is the team captain.

With the numbers light, there will be some trouble in the duals, but there is a lot more focus in the room. The young squad is focused on improving with each outing, and looking towards having strong individual post-seasons, while the program looks to take a step forward as the year progresses.
