The Warriors have strong numbers, and a large group of seniors, that put in a lot of hard work in the off-season in an effort to help the team ascend to new heights in 2011-2012.
Six wrestlers who saw varsity action a year ago return in the lower half of the lineup, and will be joined by Michael Henriques who wrestled 27 matches his sophomore year before sitting out last season. There will be plenty of new faces too down low, with several freshmen expected to see compete for the first three slots in the lineup.
Senior Corey Phillips is the team's returning wins leader and is one of five returning starters that will make up the upper half of the Warriors' lineup.
The 3rd year coaching tandem of Matt Voskian and Jamie Wladich are expecting good things from the guys in the room, and many of them responded by putting in the hard work needed in the off-season to achieve the team's goals. With so many seniors in the lineup, the Warriors are hoping to make a lot of noise in the division and after winning five matches in each of the last three seasons, they expect to improve greatly on that number.

The Warriors have strong numbers, and a large group of seniors, that put in a lot of hard work in the off-season in an effort to help the team ascend to new heights in 2011-2012.
Six wrestlers who saw varsity action a year ago return in the lower half of the lineup, and will be joined by Michael Henriques who wrestled 27 matches his sophomore year before sitting out last season. There will be plenty of new faces too down low, with several freshmen expected to see compete for the first three slots in the lineup.
Senior Corey Phillips is the team's returning wins leader and is one of five returning starters that will make up the upper half of the Warriors' lineup.
The 3rd year coaching tandem of Matt Voskian and Jamie Wladich are expecting good things from the guys in the room, and many of them responded by putting in the hard work needed in the off-season to achieve the team's goals. With so many seniors in the lineup, the Warriors are hoping to make a lot of noise in the division and after winning five matches in each of the last three seasons, they expect to improve greatly on that number.

Phillips is one of the seniors that has put in the time this off-season to have a strong finale to his high school career. Hell be one of the leaders of this team and should be in the hunt for a District medal and a trip to Regions.
